My name is Lynn Williams. Most people know me by Maize on the websites. I own a shop called A-MAIZE-ING KUSTOMS that specializes in customizing. What do I customize? Well.....Just about anything.
I specialize in custom snowmobile shocks and snowmobile work, but can work on just about anything from snowmobiles to all out race cars. I can do anything from shocks, to custom tunnels, to custom designed airbrushed hoods and helmets.
Shock work for snowmobiles is my specialty. It doesn't matter what sled you ride, whether it be Ski-Doo, Yamaha, Arctic Cat or Polaris. I can do simple rebuilds with fresh oil, seals and a fresh nitrogen charge - OR - I can build completely custom shock set-ups with stainless braided lines, FOX Podium clickers, custom Zero Pro bodies and custom shaft lengths.
I use only Amsoil Synthetic shock oil and factory seals.
I also do custom airbrushed hoods (of which some examples are inside), helmets or just about anything that will accept paint. I have painted album covers, skulls, smoke, etc....I specialize in Tru-Fire schemes. I use only House of Kolors paints to produce durable, vivid colors and clears. I have Tru-Fire in various colors, I can tint the natural color from yellow to orange to red. I also have versions in blue, all red and green.
I can also bend up custom tunnels and running boards. I use running board edge materials from VanAmburg Enterprises, and running boards from Snow Eliminators. I also make custom coolers for the custom tunnels.
Big John with Sled Head Racing and Kelsey from RK Tech are an excellent source for me to work with on specific engine, big bore and cylinder head services.
Joey with Dynamo Joe clutching is my ONLY source for clutching needs. He is specific to Ski-Doo sleds, and knows his stuff inside and out. I trust him completely to get my clutch mods spot on.
I also offer powder coating from Cool Concepts. They do all my powder coating. All the powder coating done all the featured sleds were done by Cool Concepts They also do my thermal barrier coatings on the piston tops, and the moly coating on the piston skirts.
I also work with Casey at HP Wraps for custom sled wraps. Some examples are contained within. If you have any ideas for a wrap, let either of us know and we can work with you on those items.
I am an authorized dealer for Snow Eliminators running boards and West Coast Sleds lightweight A-Arms. If you have a custom running board application, get me the measurements and I can get one made up for you.
I can also set-up complete suspension systems. I work with BC3 of TrickSleds for torsion spring spacers to really dial in your rear suspensions.
All of my Carbon Fiber/Kevlar work is handled by Raffi at RPM Composites. His skid plates are pretty much indestructable. They fit perfectly, and he is a true "sled guy".
If you have an idea, or need someone to get something made from you, let me know. I have a full shop that I can bend up to a 12' - 3/8" aluminum or sheet metal, roll or bend square tubing, a 12' shear, aluminum TIG welding, DOM tubing, complete shock work, complete engine work, complete clutch work, custom tunnels, running boards and coolers and access to a CNC machine and water-jet cutter. If you have an idea for something, get ahold of me. If I can't get it done for you, I can direct you to someone who can.
So if you subscribe to the motto of "...because stock SUCKS!", or if you have an idea to improve upon something, a need or just a want for your sled - give me a call. If you can imagine it, I can acheive it.
I have posted some of my more popular projects on this site. Feel free to browse at your leisure and if you have any questions, also feel free to contact me either by email or phone.
